Are Louisiana's priorities in line with real life?
Considering Louisiana can't curb real life violence, I'm not sure how they are going to curb people from obtaining video games with violent content. Lt. Gov Blanco wants all of us to play Smurfs in Wonderland for our source of digital entertainment. Pfttt! Whatever!
Violence in video games doesn’t make people violent, period. This mentality of "non- ownership" and "no responsibility" for ones actions sickens me. We are a society that has gone to the point of blaming video games for violence instead of laying the responsibility at the feet of the person committing the violence. It is the individual person who makes a choice to perform in a violent way or not. The only mitigation here is mental disease or defect.
